Checkout Redesign — v17 of 23
The moment we removed the account-creation gate. 3 weeks of arguments. Worth it.

Participant 4 couldn't find the filter. Watched it 11 times. Rebuilt the whole nav.
Workshop, Week 2
That's 340 sticky notes. We used 12.
"I don't design features. I design the moment someone stops feeling lost."

Orion DS — 847 components
Built in 6 weeks. 4 engineers said it saved them 3 months.
"...the real problem wasn't the button placement. It was that users didn't trust the page enough to reach the button. We were solving the wrong thing entirely."Recorded after the 3rd round of testing failed
Each one has a version-seventeen wireframe story. Here's the condensed version — click through for the full mess.

NovaPay · 2024
The Problem
NovaPay was losing 71% of sign-ups at step 3 of 14. The team had A/B tested button colors for six months. Nobody had talked to a user.
What Happened
After 8 weeks of research, wire-framing, and 3 rounds of moderated testing, we cut onboarding to 4 screens. First-deposit rate went from 29% to 67%.

Orion DS at Vaultex · 2023
The Problem
Every new feature required a designer to hand-hold implementation. Engineers were rebuilding the same modal from scratch every two weeks. The product looked like it was designed by 7 different people.
What Happened
Built Orion DS from scratch: 847 components, full Figma token sync, and a documentation site engineers actually used. New features now ship in 2 days, not 2 weeks.

Available for contract work
Taking on 1–2 projects starting April 2026
Senior product designer with 7 years across fintech, health, and B2B SaaS. I've shipped products used by 2M+ people and built design systems that outlasted my contracts.
I work best on hard problems where the brief is wrong, the timeline is impossible, and nobody has talked to a user yet. That's usually where the interesting stuff is.
Based in San Francisco. Work remotely with async-first teams. Currently taking 1–2 contract engagements for app redesigns and 0→1 products.
Design Principles
Research isn't a phase. It's the entire job.
The best design decision I ever made was killing a feature I designed.
If engineers hate using it, it's not done.
